Twilight in the Cemetery

Join us for a twilight walk thru Bayfield's historic cemetery. We will explore cemetery traditions and lore, & Victorian death customs.

Shiver at the tales of Bayfield's "dearly departed" residents and some spine-tingling ghost stories. See the site of the tragedy that washed away graves and sent coffins floating in the lake.

Read heart-breaking poetry on the graves of young children, tributes to Civil War veterans, and beloved wives. View examples of tomb stone art and design over the past 150 years.

Wednesday thru Saturday, October 2 - 5, 2013 during Bayfield's 51st Apple Festival.Meet at 5:30pm at the Bayfield Cemetery.Take Washington Ave.up the hill about one mile from town.

Enter on the left hand side of the road. See map. No food, beverages, or pets, please. Walk only on the cemetery lanes. We walk in all weather conditions.
