An afternoon walk thru Bayfield's historic cemetery with the 1887 ghost of Mrs Currie Bell. Explore cemetery traditions and Victorian death customs; meet Bayfield pioneers, Civil War veterans, read heart-breaking poetry on the graves of young children, tributes to heros & beloved wives. No food, beverages,pets or smoking. Park outside the cemetery & walk only on the paved paths. We walk in all weather conditions.

Graveyard Tales in theCemetery

Graveyard tales from near and far will give you delicious shivers, all told as twilight approaches in the Bayfield cemetery. Professional storyteller, Virginia Hirsch, presents legends and true accounts from beyond the grave.  Bring your courage, and your lawn chair or blanket (some chairs and pillows provided). These stories are family friendly but not recommended for children under age six. See calendar for dates and times.

Pay your guide $15 for age 13 and up; $10 ages 7-12; no tickets or reservations necessary.
